The Queen is due in St Ives on

The Queen is due in St Ives on Friday this week, and the council has sent out grass cutting teams to destroy all the daisies along  the St Ives Road, as the Queen probably has never seen daisies or buttercups growing and it might upset her to see what she is missing. Seriously – why are our public toilets closing to save money, while useless grass cutting of verges goes on? Save the daisies! Save the lavatories!

I have hung out the bunting and bought a couple of union jack flags to wave as she goes past our house in the branch train.
